We value:

- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within GMP manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience managing engineering, manufacturing and CAPEX projects in pharmaceutical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of oral solid dose manufacturing processes, including granulation, blending, compression, encapsulation and related manufacturing operations.
- Specific knowledge of hard and soft gelatin capsules, gels and vaginal rings and their associated manufacturing processes will be highly valued.
- Good understanding of primary & secondary packaging and conditioning operations, including packaging lines, serialization, vision systems and related equipment.
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical facilities and utilities, including HVAC, clean rooms, purified water (PW), compressed gases, electrical systems and other critical utilities.
- Experience in the design, installation, commissioning, qualification and start-up of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, production lines and facilities.
- Good understanding of GMP requirements,



contamination control principles and engineering standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects involving Production, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Supply Chain and external partners.
- Experience managing CAPEX projects, equipment procurement, engineering contractors and equipment suppliers.
- Ability to translate process and operational requirements into practical engineering and project solutions.
- Strong project management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in matrix organizations and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead pharmaceutical manufacturing and facility projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, qualification, start-up and handover to Operations.
- Lead projects related to oral solid dose manufacturing, including granulation, compression and encapsulation, as well as gel and vaginal ring manufacturing and secondary packaging operations.
- Coordinate projects involving manufacturing equipment, production areas, clean rooms, HVAC and pharmaceutical utilities.
- Define user requirements and evaluate technical solutions for new or modified manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate the installation, commissioning, qualification and successful start-up of production, packaging and facility systems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities with Production, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Supply Chain, R&D; and external engineering partners.
- Support technology transfer, process implementation and scale-up activities within the manufacturing site.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and mitigation plans, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.




- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, internal engineering standards, safety requirements and applicable regulatory expectations throughout project execution.
- Support the development, modification and optimization of pharmaceutical facilities and critical utilities according to production and business needs.
- Identify and implement technical solutions to improve capacity, productivity, reliability, flexibility and operational efficiency.
- Support technology scouting and the evaluation of new manufacturing, packaging, facility and utility technologies and suppliers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, project execution methodologies and best practices at the León manufacturing site.
