As a Vendor Management Office Lead, you will define, establish, and continuously develop the general vendor governance model for IT Operations. You will bring vendor performance, commercial and contractual governance, risk, compliance, reporting, and cross-provider coordination into one coherent operating model.

The role does not replace service ownership, Procurement, Legal, Finance, or day-to-day service management. You will create the governance framework, decision forums, information, and escalation paths that allow those accountabilities to work together effectively — and through functional leadership across the Vendor Management Office network, establish scalable standards that strengthen accountability, transparency, and service continuity.

Your responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the Vendor Management Office mandate, capabilities, governance principles, decision rights, and interaction model for global IT Operations, maintaining clear boundaries with the accountabilities of service owners, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and delivery teams.




- Establish a lean and scalable operating model with clear accountabilities across vendor management, contract management, performance reporting, risk, compliance, and service integration.
- Assess current vendor-management activities, consolidate fragmented ownership where appropriate, and develop a phased roadmap from an initial service-transition focus towards broader global coverage.
- Create a consistent segmentation and governance approach for strategic suppliers and vendor-delivered services, including ownership, review cadences, measures, risks, and escalation routes.
- Design and chair operational, tactical, and strategic supplier governance forums, providing effective escalation paths for material or recurring issues.
- Define standards for vendor scorecards, executive reporting, action tracking, risk visibility, and decision records so that governance information is comparable, traceable, and decision-ready.
