One of the companies we collaborate with at Joppy is looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer to design, administer, and maintain reliable network and security infrastructure supporting critical IT and operational technology environments.

? Responsibilities

- Lead the design, deployment, and integration of enterprise and industrial network solutions, including firewalls, SASE, NAC, and switching.
- Ensure network reliability, performance, security, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Provide senior technical expertise across network and security architectures, including segmentation, routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, and secure remote access.
- Provide expert-level, L3 support for critical network incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Advise clients on risk assessment, robust network architecture, and network evolution planning.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
- Identify emerging technologies and methodologies that can strengthen service delivery and support the development of new network services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to deliver high-quality, end-to-end network solutions.
- Develop the ability to independently manage projects, coordinate technical teams, and contribute to the growth of the Network & Security practice.

?️ Requirements

- Higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco technologies.




- Strong organizational and task-prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish .

➕ Nice to have

- Relevant technical certifications, such as CCNP, PCNSE , or similar.
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and validation requirements.
- Knowledge of German.
