Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen for an *Airborne Electronic Hardware Developer* , inside the *A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs* domain, *withing Airbus Defence and Space Air Power Engineering* in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join the *A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs* domain, belonging to the *Flight and Integration Test* *Centre of Competence* . The domain is composed of around 100 employees located in Getafe, Manching and Bremen.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with a passion for advanced digital systems and aerospace technologies. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, in charge of the full life-cycle of the Design and Build of Airborne Electronic products and solutions.
The main activities of an *Airborne Electronic Hardware Developer* are
- Ensure compliance with aerospace and airborne standards DO-254 and DO-160
- Prepare technical documentation aligned with aerospace development and certification processes
- Support equipment, hardware and firmware validation and verification, integration,
qualification and environmental testing campaigns
- Define equipment, hardware and firmware requirements and ensure system level requirements allocation
- Collaborate closely with hardware and firmware developers, systems designers and certification responsible authorities
- Participate in technical reviews, with internal customer teams (Design Offices, Chief Engineering and Program Offices) or external Certification/Qualification authorities (INTA, EASA)
- Review component selection considering reliability, obsolescence, thermal, and environmental constraints
- Management of supplier work packages for the design, manufacturing and validation and verification activities during prototype and production phases
