When engineering tools cannot communicate, engineers become the integration layer. Our job is to build the software that connects them.

We are looking for two Software Developers to create the digital connections behind complex wind-turbine engineering. The positions are hybrid, with 1–2 days per week in our Barcelona office and the remaining days working from home.

You will develop internal software that connects specialist engineering applications, automates technical workflows and ensures that critical data moves reliably between systems. Your work will reduce manual handling, minimise errors and give engineers more time to focus on engineering.

Build Software with a Visible Impact

Your solutions will be used directly by engineering teams working on technically demanding projects for a general wind-energy client.

Rather than developing software for thousands of anonymous users, you will collaborate closely with a focused group of approximately 20–30 engineers. You will understand how they work, identify where software can make the greatest difference and transform complex processes into dependable engineering tools.

In this role, software quality is measured by reliability, data integrity, traceability and reproducibility. The solutions you build must produce consistent results and remain understandable, maintainable and trustworthy over time.

What You Will Work On

- Develop new features for internal engineering tools, primarily using Python
- Build integrations within the Siemens NX CAD environment using NXOpen
- Automate engineering processes and CAD workflows
- Develop and maintain software supporting wind-turbine tower internals




- Create practical and intuitive desktop interfaces using PyQt
- Translate engineering processes into well-structured software solutions
- Design maintainable software components and technical integrations
- Build automated tests that support reliable and reproducible results
- Maintain clear technical documentation and version control
- Coordinate with software engineers, hardware engineers and other technical stakeholders

What You Bring

You enjoy solving problems that extend beyond the application itself. You are curious about the engineering process, comfortable entering complex technical domains and motivated by developing software that makes specialist work easier and more reliable.

We expect you to have:

- Approximately 3–10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong Python development skills
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience with software architecture, design principles and maintainable code
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- An understanding of automated testing and software quality
- The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders
- Professional fluency in English

Experience with Siemens NX, NXOpen, PyQt, CAD automation,



Azure DevOps or engineering software would be highly relevant. Knowledge of the wind industry is valuable but not essential.

We are recruiting two people and are open to both Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers. You do not need to match every technology listed. Your engineering mindset, ability to learn and commitment to software quality are equally important.
