We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineering Intern (Java Backend & Cloud) to join one of our software development teams and contribute to the evolution of applications that directly support Mercedes-Benz vehicle sales.

⚙️ Tasks and Responsibilities The successful candidate will actively participate in the development and maintenance of enterprise applications while learning modern software engineering practices in a real-world environment. This internship offers hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, Spring, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, allowing the intern to move beyond academic projects and contribute to products used in production environments. The intern will support the stabilization of existing systems, contribute to the migration from a monolithic architecture to modern solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

This position is idóneo for someone passionate about software development, cloud technologies, and building scalable applications while working in an agile and collaborative environment.

? Qualification

? Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

? Languages
- English B2 or higher, both written and spoken.

? Requirements and Experience

- Knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
- Basic experience with Java development.
- Knowledge of Node.js and modern web application development concepts.
- Understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Interest in modern software architectures, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, version control tools (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Motivation to learn technologies such as Spring, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, ArgoCD, and Datadog.

? Conditions of the Internship

- 12-month internship.
- 35 hours per week (availability required from 8:00 to 16:00 during the 12 months).
- Flexible starting time.
- Agreement and training provided by the company or agreement with current university.
