The Finance Data Pool is Allianz's strategic data foundation for finance, bringing together financial data from multiple source systems into a harmonized and scalable data warehouse. It supports accounting, reporting, analytics, and future data-driven finance capabilities across Allianz entities.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Finance Data Pool products and capabilities. You will work closely with Finance experts, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, SAP specialists, and Testing teams to ensure business requirements are transformed into high-quality products that deliver value and support Allianz's finance transformation journey.
Drive the delivery of Finance Data Pool capabilities from idea through implementation and release.
~ Act as the primary functional and technical counterpart for development teams during implementation.

Define functional processes, data requirements, transformation logic, and integration needs.

~ Ensure consistency and standardization across Finance Data Pool products and solutions.

Support Agile Delivery
~ Support sprint planning, demonstrations, and release activities.

~ Ensure Quality and Business Readiness
~ Work closely with testing teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria.

~ Support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.

~ Validate that delivered capabilities meet business expectations and quality standards.





~ Several years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Solution Architect, Lead Engineer or similar role.
~ Strong understanding of Finance processes and finance data.

~ Experience working with Agile delivery teams and product-based delivery models.

~ Finance & SAP Knowledge
~ Strong understanding of finance business processes and data structures.

~ Understanding of accounting, reporting, and financial data integration processes.

~ Understanding of modern data platforms, data integration, and analytics environments.

~ Experience working with data engineering teams and data products.

~ Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and integration patterns.

~ Understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data architectures.

~ Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and DevOps practices.
