? Senior Technical Architect – Cloud & Enterprise Architecture ?

? About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join a strategic technology team within a large international enterprise environment.

In this role, you will contribute to key transformation initiatives across Cloud, AI & Agentic AI, API Management, IT Security, Infrastructure, and Workplace, helping define and validate architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

You will work across multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating closely with CIO stakeholders, infrastructure teams, security specialists, application teams, and other architects.

The position combines hands-on technical architecture, enterprise governance, cloud strategy, and solution design, with a strong focus on Azure architecture, networking, security, integration, and application provisioning.

? What you’ll do

? Define and validate target architectures covering Cloud, Security, Data, Network, Integration, Infrastructure, Containers, and implementation standards

? Support strategic technology programmes including Cloud Transformation, AI & Agentic AI, API Management, IT Security, and Workplace

? Provide Enterprise Architecture guidance to ensure consistency across the IT landscape and alignment with business objectives

? Design and review Azure cloud architectures, including Landing Zones, network topology, security controls, and platform services

? Define and assess architectures based on hub-and-spoke networking models, connectivity, segmentation, identity, and security principles

? Lead and participate in Design Authority and Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes

? Review solution architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise and group standards

? Define architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guidelines for APIs, services, cloud platforms, and distributed systems

? Support application and infrastructure refresh strategies and technology roadmaps

? Ensure proper end-to-end integration, security, resilience, and scalability of proposed solutions

? Collaborate with project and engineering teams during solution design and implementation

? Provide architectural leadership, identifying technical risks and challenging proposed solutions when necessary

? Contribute to Business Vision, Blueprints, Value Chains, and technology roadmaps





? Support the provisioning and integration of applications across enterprise environments

? Document architecture decisions and contribute to governance documentation and architecture standards

? Must Have

? 10+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong experience in Technical, Solution, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture roles

? Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem

? Hands-on knowledge of Azure platform components and architecture patterns

? Experience with Azure Landing Zones

? Strong understanding of networking architecture, including hub-and-spoke models, connectivity, segmentation, and security

? Strong background in infrastructure architecture, including Windows and Linux environments

? Experience defining complex target architectures across Cloud, Security, Network, Data, Integration, and Infrastructure

? Strong understanding of IT Security principles and experience validating solutions in highly secure environments

? Good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts

? Understanding of containers and modern application deployment models

? Good knowledge of data management concepts, architectures, tools, and large-scale data processing

? Experience with API and service-oriented architectures

? Ability to assess architecture from an end-to-end perspective, rather than focusing on a single technology layer

? Experience working in large enterprise environments, ideally with multi-regional infrastructure

? Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical teams, architects, security teams, and senior stakeholders

? Fluent English

? Experience with AI and Agentic AI architectures

? Knowledge of enterprise API Management platforms and integration architectures

? Experience participating in or leading Architecture Review Boards / Design Authorities

? Experience defining enterprise architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks

? Familiarity with infrastructure and application modernisation programmes

? Experience working across multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments

? CISSP certification

? Cloud Security certifications such as CSA / CSSA or similar





? Experience within highly regulated industries or large international organisations
