Project Details:
We are looking for a professional with experience in system interfaces and integrations to join a large-scale, strategic SAP S/4HANA migration project spanning several years.
The successful candidate will initially join the pre-project phase, which is starting immediately, and will subsequently become part of the migration project, scheduled to start in March and expected to last approximately two years.
The main objective of the role will be to coordinate and oversee all interfaces and integrations between SAP S/4HANA and the company’s various industrial systems, ensuring that all integrations are properly analysed, adapted, developed, tested and migrated within the agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse the current inventory of interfaces and integrations between SAP and the industrial systems.
Review the existing documentation and ensure proper matching between interfaces, their documentation and the systems involved.
Assess the impact of the migration to SAP S/4HANA on existing interfaces.
Identify which interfaces need to be maintained, modified, replaced or newly designed as part of the migration.
Coordinate with System Owners, Software and IT teams, as well as the owners of the different industrial systems.
Work closely with the SAP team and development teams to define the requirements for each integration.
Request and follow up on the necessary developments, ensuring that requirements and agreed timelines are met.
Coordinate interface testing, validation and deployment.
Maintain an overall view of the status of all interfaces and identify potential risks, dependencies and delays.
Ensure that, by the time of the migration, all required interfaces have been adapted and are fully prepared to operate correctly with SAP S/4HANA.




Contribute to defining an integration strategy aimed at expanding and standardising integrations wherever possible, including the potential implementation of an API Manager.
Coordinate directly with the different project stakeholders, including Rubén Maldonado, System Owners and Software leads.
Systems Environment

The project involves the integration of SAP S/4HANA with various industrial systems and applications, including:
PAS-X
LIMS
ROSMAN
POMS
Other proprietary systems and industrial applications.

One of the initial areas of focus will be a proprietary system that will need to be migrated as part of the project.

Required Profile

We are looking for a professional with experience in system interfaces and integrations, ideally in complex environments involving multiple applications and stakeholders.

The candidate should have the ability to:

Analyse integration architectures and information flows.
Understand the impact that system changes have on existing integrations.
Work effectively with System Owners and external development partners.
Manage follow-up, priorities, dependencies and deadlines.
Review technical documentation and identify gaps.
Translate functional requirements into clear requirements for development teams.

This is not a development role. The candidate will not be expected to develop interfaces directly, although technical knowledge of integrations and software development would be highly valuable and would help to streamline coordination and follow-up activities.

Specific knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is desirable but is not the primary requirement. Priority will be given to candidates with strong experience and knowledge of interfaces, integrations and system coordination, as these will be the core focus of the role.
