In this Category Buyer role, you secure optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery for a portfolio of components across European plants. You operate within a global procurement team, driving supplier management, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and business continuity. You will collaborate with multiple functions to advance procurement transformation and supplier performance.

This is an international, fast-paced environment where your decisions impact competitiveness and resilience. You will contribute to Schneider Electrics sustainability and efficiency goals through strategic sourcing and supplier leadership.

Responsabilidades

Drive supplier performance and sustainable cost optimization while ensuring continuity

Manage supplier relationships and conduct RFQs aligned with commodity strategies

Execute supplier consolidation and mitigate supply chain risks

Escalate and manage supplier crises as first point of contact





Lead or participate in annual negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Implement cost reduction initiatives, including Value Engineering and Change of Source

Achieve procurement productivity targets

Collaborate with Marketing, R&D;, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing

Support supplier initiatives and procurement transformation projects

Contribute to procurement tools and maintain data accuracy

Requisitos principales

Masters Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or Engineering degree with procurement experience)

Fluent English; Spanish mandatory; French desirable

Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities xugodme

Cost analysis, market analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership expertise

Advanced Excel and data analytics

Experience with procurement digital tools (RPA, e-Sourcing, SRM, SupplierOn, Prism, Tableau)

Knowledge of contract management, risk assessment, and legal frameworks

Financial acumen and understanding of Quality and Supply Chain processes

Leadership, stakeholder management, and international collaboration skills

Ability to translate data into actionable procurement plans
