In this role you will design, implement, and optimize software for wind farm controllers from our Hamburg office, focusing on programming and architecture rather than on-site service. You’ll work within a skilled, collaborative team to translate control concepts into robust PLC- and software-based solutions and to enhance communication interfaces. The role offers deep programming focus in renewable energy with a meaningful impact on wind farm performance.

Responsabilidades
Design and implement software for the Nordex Acciona wind farm controller
Translate functional requirements into robust code (PLC-based and/or C#/C++)
Develop and optimize communication interfaces (Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC6 /104)
Validate control software via lab and remote field tests




Contribute to performance optimization of wind farm control systems
Collaborate with Control and Grid Code teams and validation/testing teams
Take ownership of complex control development projects and lead their implementation
Provide 3rd-level support for the Nordex Acciona wind farm fleet
Requisitos principales
University degree in related fields (Control/Electrical/Telecommunications)
Solid programming experience in C#, C++ and/or IEC 61131-3 PLC programming
Experience in embedded systems and real-time applications xqbhyrx (a plus)
Strong understanding of PLC architectures and control algorithms
Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC UA, DNP3, Bluecom)
Experience with grid codes and renewable energy systems
Ideally experience with IEC namespace and model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink)
Structured, reliable, independent working style with good communication
Fluent in English; German or Spanish a plus
