In this role you will build scalable backend systems for the Grow & Engage domain, shaping the customer journey from signup to premium membership. You’ll partner with product, tech leads and designers to translate user needs into robust services that power daily engagement. You’ll work hybrid in Berlin or Barcelona, contributing to a fast-paced, innovative fintech team.

Responsabilidades
Contribute across the full feature lifecycle: discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
Prioritize project work within a collaborative team and share knowledge through sessions




Stay current with technology trends and propose new ideas or architectures during Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD)
Collaborate with Product Owner, Tech Lead and Designers to translate needs into scalable backend solutions
Requisitos principales
Experience developing software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus)
Strong understanding of microservice architecture
Knowledge of relational xqbhyrx (PostgreSQL preferred) and non-relational databases
Experience with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development while maintaining quality
Product-centric mindset
Strong ownership and initiative
Ability to negotiate delivery scope and timelines
JVM languages and Spring Boot
Microservice architecture
PostgreSQL or other relational databases; NoSQL databases
