In this role you lead and contribute hands-on to a full stack engineering team focused on delivering reliable software. You translate product priorities into actionable technical plans, influence architecture, and ensure quality, security, and scalability. You work across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure to balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability. You’ll mentor engineers, drive improvements in practices and tooling, and collaborate with Product and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Responsabilidades
Lead day-to-day technical direction and ensure delivery against priorities
Contribute hands-on to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of production software
Guide architecture and design decisions across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure
Break down complex initiatives into actionable work and estimate effort
Mentor engineers and facilitate technical discussions
Review code and enforce standards for quality, maintainability, scalability, security, observability, and testing




Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and drive action
Improve development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and team processes
Promote ownership across the full application lifecycle including deployment and production support
Build a collaborative culture grounded in accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning with Mitek values
Requisitos principales
Significant professional software engineering experience with leadership or mentoring experience
Strong back-end development experience
Production experience with Go (desirable)
Strong JavaScript experience with single-page frameworks, especially React
Experience delivering production-grade full stack applications xqbhyrx
Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and modern development practices
Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, ECS, EC2, Lambda)
Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and modern engineering practices
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
English fluency and ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
