In this role you design, build, and operate data foundations powering reporting, automation, and AI across Amazon Operations International. You will own end-to-end data services, treating data as a product with SLAs and costs, and you’ll work with a lakehouse on AWS to deliver reusable data products for analysts, scientists and AI agents. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve data capabilities, automate operational load, and ensure reliability.

The opportunity combines hands-on engineering with architecture decisions in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

- Make services self-healing and idempotent




- Create agent-friendly data services
- Automate operational load and monitoring
- Own health checks (SLA, quality, cost) and triage issues
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and design decisions
- Write Python and SQL, review PRs, and deliver curated components
- Engage with customers to understand problems and determine xugodme right solutions

Responsabilidades

- Experience in data engineering
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala
- Experience with Python or KornShell
- Experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, IAM)
