Overview

As Analytics Engineer I in Data Platform Enablement, you will help maintain Glovo’s core data tools and governance standards, enabling trusted data access across the business. You’ll drive automation, AI-assisted processes, and Looker enhancements to empower non-technical stakeholders. You will mentor interns and collaborate closely with senior Data Engineers and stakeholders to improve data consumption and support. This role offers hands-on ownership of data tools in a scaling, AI-influenced environment with a strong engineering foundation. You will contribute to a data-focused culture that values responsible delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

- Maintain and govern core data tools (Looker) and enforce governance standards across the company
- Automate manual data processes using LLMs, n8n, Make, and API/MCP connections
- Monitor GCP usage and costs and help define governance around cloud resources




- Advance Looker towards conversational analytics for broader accessibility
- Enhance the Data Support self-serve experience to reduce ticket-driven questions
- Identify and propose improvements to data consumption and support across the company
- Mentor and delegate tasks to 3 interns, providing feedback as they grow
- Collaborate with senior Data Engineers and stakeholders across business areas

Requisitos principales

- 2-3 years in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering or similar
- Strong SQL with ability to write, debug, and optimise queries
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative engineering practices
- Experience using LLMs and automation tools (n8n, Make, APIs)
- Ambitious, independent mind-set with ownership of well-scoped tasks
- English proficiency with ability to explain technical topics to varied audiences
