About the role: As a FinOps Tech Lead, you will lead the cloud financial management strategy, ensuring cost efficiency, accountability, and optimization across multi-cloud environments. You will combine technical leadership and financial governance, working closely with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive data-driven decisions, automation, and cost transparency. Which tasks can you expect? Key Result Areas
- FinOps Strategy & Architecture – Define and lead the roadmap for cloud cost optimization and financial governance.
- Cost Visibility & Accountability – Implement tagging strategies, dashboards, and reporting for real-time cost insights.




- Automation & Tooling – Drive automation for cost anomaly detection, budget alerts, and resource optimization.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Partner with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to align cost strategies.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship – Guide FinOps engineers and foster a culture of cost efficiency and financial discipline. Key AccountabilitiesLead cloud financial management practices across AWS, Azure, and other platforms. Define cost optimization strategies, including pricing models and resource allocation. Implement real-time monitoring and anomaly detection for cloud spend. Drive automation initiatives for cost reporting and forecasting. Design, develop, and maintain FinOps data platforms and data models using SQL Server. Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for cloud cost and usage data. Create, maintain, and enhance FinOps dashboards and reports in Power BI.Design scalable data models and schemas
