Overview
As a Project Director, you lead integral oncology clinical trial programs, overseeing study portfolios and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery. You partner with clients to align on goals, drive process improvements, and maintain high-quality execution across studies. You shape trial strategy, risk management, and change management while supporting business development and senior leadership. This role offers remote work from several EU countries and wide collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades
- Act as primary client liaison and lead proposal activities and presentations
- Oversee end-to-end trial management across portfolios with consistent execution
- Provide direction to project managers on establishment, planning, initiation, procurement, execution and closeout
- Manage study budget, identify out-of-scope work, drive change orders, and ensure financial health
- Develop robust project plans with timelines, risk mitigation, and quality controls
- Ensure quality management for projects (eTMF readiness, CAPA/quality plans)
- Establish and monitor tracking metrics; prepare status updates for clients and senior management
- Lead internal and client meetings; set expectations and drive study-level strategies
- Oversee cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration across functional areas
- Communicate protocol/study issues to sponsor and precision management and implement corrective actions
- Conduct formal presentations to diverse audiences including bid defenses
- Ensure study-specific training and compliance throughout the project
- Support business development and travel for bid defense activities
- Mentor associate/project managers and contribute to SOP updates
- Provide performance feedback and drive corrective actions as needed
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Requisitos principales
- Minimum 8 years of clinical research or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years direct project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC and CTMS
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Experience managing highly complex and global studies or portfolios
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and company SOPs
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders across regions
- Independent planning, risk, and change management capabilities
- Ability to travel as needed
