Key Responsibilities- Own all legal, commercial, and regulatory risks for Germany and Austria, excluding tax and labor- Advise the German Country Manager and local leadership- Lead and manage legal aspects of Veepee’s operations in Germany and secondarily B2C operations in Austria- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business transactions and inform senior management of legal developments- Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, consumer, advertising, digital, competition, distribution, regulatory compliance, IP/IT, and e-commerce matters- Continuously evaluate business activities and develop legal risk mitigation strategies- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts- Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting e-commerce and technology sectors- Manage and resolve disputes and coordinate litigation with external legal firms- Educate and train staff on legal developments, policies, and best practices- Draft legal documents, contracts, memoranda, and communications- Represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary- Support Finance with corporate housekeeping of German entities- Serve as a business partner and trusted legal advisor- Report to the General Counsel InternationalRequirements- Master’s degree in Law from a recognized German University or equivalent degree (Staatsexamen) with a focus/specialization in consumer and/or commercial law- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm and/or a dynamic corporate legal department, ideally in e-commerce, retail,
