In this role you lead a global automation and performance testing team to advance PPGs quality engineering. You will define the testing strategy, tooling, and processes to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software across the organization. You drive AI-powered and data-driven testing approaches to accelerate delivery and improve customer experience. You collaborate with business and IT partners to embed quality into the software lifecycle and shape enterprise-wide testing strategies. This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of automation, analytics, and innovation.

Responsabilidades

Lead a global team of automation and performance testing engineers to deliver strategic initiatives
Define scope and quality objectives for releases across functional and non-functional areas
Establish an automation-first testing strategy and enhance test automation frameworks
Improve test automation processes, frameworks, and methodologies
Define and track quality metrics such as automation coverage and test effectiveness
Ensure release readiness and adherence to quality standards across applications
Develop testing strategies, plans, and quality roadmaps
Identify and implement AI-enabled testing capabilities to boost productivity and coverage
Coordinate with PMs, developers, stakeholders, and IT to resolve defects
Provide clear testing status reports to senior leadership
Oversee end-to-end performance testing and analyze performance improvements
Lead recruitment, talent development, and recognition programs
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with regulatory,



security, and SOX requirements
Manage team workload and resource allocation
Identify and adopt industry-leading tools and best practices
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
Support strategic objectives with effective quality engineering practices

Requisitos principales

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Proven experience leading software testing, automation, or quality engineering teams
Success designing, implementing, and scaling automated testing frameworks
Strong experience with test automation tools and methodologies
Experience with performance testing concepts, strategies, and tools
Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and modern delivery practices
Experience leading integral or distributed teams
Project management experience handling multiple priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Experience leveraging xqziphu AI/ML to enhance testing, including intelligent test creation and self-healing automation
Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tricentis Tosca AI or similar
Proven ability to evaluate and govern emerging AI technologies for testing efficiency and quality
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered
Preferred qualifications: Agile environments, mature DevOps, performance testing tools like JMeter or Carrier IO, ISTQB or Tosca certifications
Experience facilitating roadmaps and strategic workshops
Familiarity with enterprise software development toolchains
Experience integrating AI-assisted quality engineering into the SDLC
