As Staff Software Engineer, you will anchor technical direction for autonomous security agents within Google Cloud’s Security and Privacy domain. You’ll architect large-scale, secure platforms and influence cross-team decisions to advance AI-driven cyber defense. You mentor engineers, raise standards, and collaborate with executives to align roadmap with security objectives. This role offers ownership, impact, and opportunities to push the boundaries of AI-enabled security at scale.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Define the technical strategy and roadmap for autonomous AI agents and security platforms
- Architect and lead development of large-scale agentic infrastructure with safety and performance considerations
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers to uphold code quality, design docs, and reliability
- Influence product and engineering decisions by bridging AI research and production-grade security applications
- Act as a technical anchor, collaborating with executive leadership across Google Cloud Security and the broader Google ecosystem
Responsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical xugodme experience
- 8 years of experience in software development
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products
- 5 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management)
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
