As a Staff Software Engineer in the Content Services team, you will help modernize real-time news and content systems powering Dow Jones products like Newswires, Factiva, and the Wall Street Journal. You’ll work across a fast-paced tech landscape, shaping scalable backend solutions and data-driven capabilities with GenAI, cloud, and modern tooling. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, you’ll drive high-impact initiatives in a highly adaptive environment.

You will leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver seamless, immersive experiences for readers and customers.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality solutions across the SDLC using Agile/Scrum practices
- Investigate feasibility through prototyping and evaluation of new technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage scope, milestones, and timelines on technical projects
- Provide guidance, feedback,



and training to management and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, tools, and systems

Responsabilidades

- 7+ years of experience
- Experience creating and deploying microservices in a service mesh environment
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience with multi-region, multi-environment systems and CI/CD, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Experience writing secure code and addressing security vulnerabilities
- Experience xugodme with Agile/Scrum in a distributed team
- 5+ years building high-performance backend systems as a full stack engineer
- 5+ years as a Java developer in a Linux environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
