In this Lead Integration Architect role, you define and operationalize interoperability standards across Agilent’s software platform and partner divisions. You act as a hands-on technical leader, shaping reference patterns and governance for APIs, event-driven design, and schema/versioning to enable scalable cross-system integration. You’ll review designs, guide teams, and own the delivery of platform-wide integration solutions. This role offers an opportunity to influence architecture decisions at scale and to build a reusable catalog of integration patterns that align with the company’s software ecosystem.

Responsabilidades

- Design and own integration architecture solutions across the software platform, instruments, applications, and enterprise systems
- Define integration standards and reference architectures: API design, event-driven patterns, schema governance, and versioning, validating implementations
- Architect and hands-on guide containerized integration solutions using Kubernetes for reliability, scalability, and operability
- Review and approve critical integration designs across product teams and make binding architecture decisions
- Build and maintain a library of reusable integration patterns and reference implementations




- Partner across divisions as the go-to integration authority for cross-system problems
- Define integration contracts between platform services, instruments, and enterprise systems
- Identify and remediate integration patterns that introduce technical debt or cross-team coupling

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience
- 5+ years in hands-on integration architecture roles
- Deep expertise across REST/GraphQL API design, event-driven architecture (Kafka, MQTT, or equivalent), asynchronous messaging, and schema governance
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and operating containerized workloads at xqziphu platform scale
- Experience with Docker and cloud-native deployment patterns across edge and cloud environments
- Proven track record of delivering integration solutions with design and implementation ownership
- Experience setting API versioning, schema management, and contract-based integration standards
- Ability to make and defend binding architecture decisions across teams with competing priorities
