This position is equivalent to a Home Support Worker/ Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role in Ireland.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde looking to build a long-term healthcare career in Ireland.

Please note that this position is a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role in Ireland. Your qualification as a Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde makes you eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde

- Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to Clients.
- Adhere to all of Comfort Home Care policies.
- Accurate record-keeping and writing detailed reports
- Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role
- Implement the client's care plan.
- Provide practical and emotional support to clients in a professional manner
- Travelling to and from Clients houses to provide personal care

Candidate Requirements

- We are looking for candidates who meet the following ESSENTIAL CRITERIA for the Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde
- Qualified Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde or another recognised healthcare qualification equivalent to or higher than the Irish QQI Level 5 Major Award / or level 7 in Social Care or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience supporting individuals with a disability/Care of the older person in a health or social care setting.
- Very good to fluent English (spoken and written)




- Full driving licence with a minimum 1-year driving experience
- Comfortable driving Clients as part of the role
- Have a caring and kind disposition providing a person-centred approach to the client.
- Experience of Personal Care including Infection Prevention and Control

Licences / Certifications

- Qualified Nurse
- QQI level 5 full award in healthcare
- Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (required)
- Full Clean Driver’s License (required)
