Experteer Overview As a Senior Java Engineer in ING Hubs Spain, you will join the DDoS Squad within the Global Security Organization to design, develop, and maintain secure software for managing firewall rules and protecting ING's global network. You’ll work in an international, agile DevOps environment, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable security solutions. You will drive end-to-end ownership of features, from development to deployment and operations, focusing on secure, automated, and resilient systems. - Design, develop and enhance software with Spring Boot and Java technologies
- Build and deploy solutions following CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines
- Develop infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions




- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous delivery activities
- Maintain and improve software documentation, procedures and standards

- Spring Boot (preferred) or Java EE experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Kubernetes and/or OpenShift knowledge
- Understanding of security and risk in software development
- Automation/orchestration tools such as Helm, Terraform and Ansible
- Strong communication and adaptability to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
