HR & Corporate Back Office Technology Business Partner - LiverpoolJob Introduction We are looking for a HR & Corporate Back Office Technology Business Partner to join the team here at Liverpool Football Club.
You will own and support the technology and systems used by teams including HR, Legal, Procurement and Communications, driving technical change that meets business needs. As the go-to expert for HR and Corporate Back Office technology, you will champion innovation, improve processes, ensure compliance with governance and security requirements, manage key supplier relationships and work across the Club to deliver effective technology solutions.
What will you be doing?
Product Leadership & Strategy
- Support business leads and the Senior Manager, Finance & HR Systems in shaping and delivering the technology strategy for HR, Legal, Procurement and Communications.
- Manage the roadmap and backlog for your business areas, balancing efficiency, commercial value, user experience and innovation.
- Drive improvements in partnership with business stakeholders and product teams.




- Champion appropriate uses of AI to improve internal processes and systems, in line with Club policies.
- Use data to evaluate performance, identify cost-saving opportunities and inform roadmap priorities.
- Support the development of business cases and investment proposals for technology change.

Technology & Vendor Management
- Manage day-to-day technical relationships with suppliers across HR and Corporate Back Office systems.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, and oversee system integrations.
- Identify opportunities to simplify the supplier landscape where appropriate.

Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure systems, projects and suppliers meet relevant legal, governance, information security and risk requirements.
- Promote responsible and compliant use of AI.
- Champion strong data control, organisation and documentation across the system estate.
- Create and monitor technical KPI
