The selected candidate will join the
Structural Analysis Methods & Tools Team . Our department is in charge of defining and developing both the current run-mode and the future Structural Analysis Tools (ISAMI) used for the sizing and certification of series and next-generation Airbus products.
The team is multicultural, fully transnational, and operates in a general, collaborative environment. The jobholder will reinforce our engineering digitalization capabilities, combining advanced coding skills with airframe structural knowledge to address key challenges in data continuity, lead time, and next-gen simulation frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Design and develop
the next-generation simulation platform (Advanced C++ framework), including GUI, transverse services, and multidisciplinary capabilities (FEM pre/postprocessing, surrogate models, AI).
Code and implement
specific capabilities within the Stress Solver Repository using Modern C++ and Python.
Automate
structural analysis processes into ISAMI in alignment with the Airframe Engineering digital strategy.
Maintain and optimize
existing methods and tools applied to current Airbus programs, ensuring performance improvements and business continuity.
Define
new sizing and optimization methods to set the standard for future development processes, securing data consistency across the lifecycle.
Supervise
and validate sub-contracted software development activities.

Education:
Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science degree, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Proven experience in Software Engineering/Architecture with a solid foundation or interest in structural/stress analysis.
Technical knowledge:
