The successful candidate will work as part of the busy, fast paced Engineering team on the development of new and innovative powerboats within DeAntonioYachts design team. DeAntonioYachts designs and produces boats for the powerboat leisure market. Currently in its 10th anniversary, production is done in Europe and boats are sold world wide.
Key responsibilites & accountabilities
3D modelling & 2D drawings for production from concept designBOM’s for new an ongoing projects. Population and maintenance of existing onesWeight estimate for new and ongoing projects.Communication with yard to ensure correct projects implementationResearch and proposal of boat equipmentDevelop ready production solutions from a concept design phaseDesign and detail all systems onboard, from concept to buildOrganize tasks and timings for yard production




Qualifications & Skills
B.Eng in naval engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering, aeronautic, or equivalent.3 to 5 years of experience in marine technical office/yard3D CAD & 2D CAD. Professional Proficiency on parametric CAD.Familiar with naval architecture principlesComposite structures & mechanical engineering mind setAble to liaise with other engineers/designers to optimize overall designCapable of performing standard engineering calculationsPrevious experience with composite manufacturing productsFluent in English and/or Spanish
