Who we need
Our Brickwork provision is growing, and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Brickwork Lecturer on a 0.6 FTE basis. The successful candidate will teach and assess learners across a range of Brickwork programmes and levels within the Further Education curriculum.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Brickwork teaching and learning sessions across relevant levels.




Deliver both practical workshop-based training and underpinning knowledge.
Assess learners' practical skills, knowledge and understanding in line with qualification requirements.
Provide academic and pastoral tutorials, supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Monitor, record and report on learner progress and achievement.
Develop learners' practical skills and employability skills to support progression into the construction industry, further study or apprenticeships.
Maintain strong links with industry and maximise opportunities for employer engagement.
Work collaboratively with curriculum colleagues to ensure a dynamic, responsive and high-quality Brickwork curriculum.
Motivate and inspire learners, encouraging high standards of workmanship, professional behaviour and health and safety.
Contribute to quality assurance activities, including standardisation, assessment and classroom/workshop
