The team has a broad and demanding remit, which at its core is focused on regulatory enquiries, regulatory investigations, claims, threatened claims, circumstances that could lead to investigations or claims, public inquiries, reputational issues, complaints, and extensive requests for evidence. Beyond that, the team’s role and purpose increasingly includes: a) supporting on contentious matters arising across our EMEA community; b)



ad hoc risk consultancy on live engagements; c) project work (focussed on a variety of legal and risk subjects, with a view to supporting our partners and people in pro-actively driving quality and the management of risk); d) QRS/Firm support, including providing legal advice in respect of internal and external transactions; and e) managing the firm’s PII arrangements. This is an interesting, challenging and varied role.
