AWE is currently recruiting for a Team Leader within Defence Radiation Protection Services (DRPS) , the trusted partner for high-quality radiation science supporting UK Defence and Security.
Based at the Institute of Naval Medicine in Alverstoke, Gosport,
the Nucleonic Instrumentation Service (NIS) provides specialist instrumentation, maintenance, calibration, repair and technical support services that underpin Defence radiological monitoring and nuclear emergency response capabilities. The team plays a critical role in maintaining operational readiness and ensuring the availability of specialist radiation detection equipment for customers across Defence.
As the NIS Team Leader , you will lead a multidisciplinary technical team responsible for the delivery of instrumentation support services, technical assurance, capability development and operational outputs. You will be accountable for maintaining a technical capability that delivers critical skills and resources aligned to current and future business requirements.
