You will deliver specialist bat surveys, design mitigation, secure licences (BER and statutory), and produce high‑quality technical reports and EIA/HRA chapters. Working within a multidisciplinary consultancy, you’ll support project bids, coordinate survey programmes (day and night), analyse data using modern survey technology and contribute to mitigation and roost creation solutions across diverse site types.Your Impact in this position

mentoring colleagues on licencing and survey technique, and helping expand the business’s bat capability nationally.Core CapabilitiesSurvey Design & DeliveryPlan and execute complex daytime and nocturnal surveys, using advanced detection and analysis tools.Licensing & MitigationPrepare and obtain mitigation licences (BER and statutory), design practical avoidance, mitigation and roost creation strategies.Data Analysis & ReportingProduce rigorous, defensible reports and EIA/HRA chapters; apply quality assurance to technical outputs.Project & Task ManagementCoordinate schedules, budgets and resources; manage tasks or full projects following Tetra Tech PM training.Mentoring & Technical DevelopmentCoach junior staff toward licencing goals, share emerging research and drive uptake of new survey techniques.Training, Qualifications & Experience
