The successful candidate will work closely with both site teams and engineering colleagues to improve mechanical system performance, support operational troubleshooting, and help drive technical improvements across the UK sites.Responsibilities include: Develop and improve mechanical maintenance systems and practices across the UK fleetProvide mechanical engineering support in connection with plant modifications, maintenance activities, and other critical operational interventionsContribute to improvements in plant reliability, maintainability, and operational performanceLead or participate as an expert in root cause analysis and similar investigationsConduct technical surveys, inspections, condition assessments, and investigations to support reliability and maintenance improvementsMake sure all plans follow the agreed guidelines to the extent possible, and help clear any obstacles, impeding thisPrepare technical specifications, coordinate technical activities with contractors and suppliers, and support implementation
