DescriptionSenior Estimator – Civil Engineering & InfrastructureHertfordshire150,000 p.a. + Bonus + PackageA Rare Opportunity with a Growing Civil Engineering ContractorA highly respected UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team.The business is currently experiencing a significant period of sustained growth, supported by a strong order book and a pipeline of major infrastructure and engineering projects across the Midlands.With a long-established reputation for delivering technically complex projects safely and efficiently, the company works across sectors including transport infrastructure, aviation, utilities,



highways and major urban developments.This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale civil engineering projects typically ranging from 20m – 150m+ while playing a key role in shaping winning tender strategies.The RoleAs Senior Estimator, you will lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for major civil engineering schemes.You will work closely with senior commercial, operational and technical teams to develop robust pricing strategies and successful bids.Key responsibilities include:Leading tender pricing for major civil engineering and infrastructure projectsReviewing technical documentation, drawings and specificationsDeveloping cost plans, pricing strategies and value engineering solutionsManaging the supply chain enquiry and pricing processIdentifying and managing commercial and technical riskPreparing tender adjudication reports and bid presentationsWorking closely with project teams to support the handover from pre-construction to deliveryWhat They’re Looking ForProven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within Civil Eng
