About The Company What’s Promptly in a nutshell Promptly is building the first patient-centered global evidence network, offering real world data sharing and monetization capabilities. Together with a selected network of Partners, we generate new knowledge from harmonized datasets, augmented with the collection of longitudinal patient-reported data and patient-generated digital biomarkers within a secure and privacy-preserving environment.
We answer the question – is this patient treatment the best it could possibly be?
What’s Our Purpose We exist to empower every patient and every health organization on the planet with evidence on the outcomes of care!
Why do we get up in the morning? Well, most healthcare professionals have chosen to work in healthcare driven by their desire to make a difference in patients’ lives. And so have we! We have chosen to follow this calling by addressing the biggest problem in healthcare: the lack of real-world evidence on the outcomes of care.
For us, society denying patients better care due to lack of access to data is unethical, in a world where technology improved so many aspects of our world. Making the right evidence available to healthcare organizations to help prevent one lost life, one care complication, one failed treatment is the moral obligation that big tech companies have – it’s our Hippocratic Oath.
At Promptly, everything we do is driven by our core purpose: to promote better healthcare at lower costs for patients every day, by making health outcomes available.
About The Role This role sits at the heart of Promptly's Spain operation. You will own a portfolio of institutional accounts within the Spanish National Health System (SNS), with responsibility for retention, contract lifecycle management, and structured expansion into new clinical areas and departments.
You'll work alongside the Business Development team – translating early-stage hospital relationships into long-term, multi-year partnerships – and act as the primary interface between Promptly and its most important Spanish clients.
If you have 5–7 years of experience managing enterprise accounts in the health technology or life sciences space, a solid command of public procurement in Spain, and a track record of growing institutional relationships at a senior stakeholder level – this is your role.
You will report directly to the Spanish Regional Manager and work in close coordination with the BD Spain team to ensure a seamless transition from pipeline to account management. You will also interface regularly with Promptly's Product and Solutions teams to translate institutional feedback into development priorities.
What You'll Do
- Own a portfolio of signed institutional accounts across Spanish public health – hospital groups, hospital foundations, and relevant health authorities within the SNS and Comunidades Autónomas.
- Manage senior relationships across clinical, digital, procurement, and executive stakeholders within each account.
- Lead quarterly business reviews per account: track platform adoption, surface adoption risks, and maintain institutional alignment on Promptly's roadmap.
- Act as the primary escalation point for all account-related operational and commercial issues.
- Own the full contract lifecycle per account: execution, renewal, amendment, and upsell – including management of public procurement obligations (pliegos, resoluciones, modificaciones contractuales).
- Map accounts for structured expansion: identify new clinical use cases, additional hospital departments, multi-year upgrade pathways, or consortium participation opportunities.
- Build account-specific commercial roadmaps aligned to each institution's digital health strategy and Promptly's product evolution.
- Feed structured account intelligence back to Product and Solutions; translate institutional feedback into development priorities and communicate them effectively internally.
- Coordinate with the BD Spain team to ensure account retention strategy supports new pipeline positioning and overall Spain commercial targets.
- Maintain rigorous account hygiene in CRM (Attio), ensuring accurate forecasting and transparent reporting to the Spanish Regional Manager.
New Business & Lead Generation
- Identify, map, and qualify new target accounts across key Comunidades Autónomas, contributing to a robust pipeline from first contact through to signed agreement.
- Generate leads and create new opportunities within your account portfolio and adjacent institutions – surfacing new contacts, new departments, and new use cases that can accelerate Promptly's growth in Spain.
- Develop account plans for priority institutions in collaboration with the Spanish Regional Manager, aligning Promptly's capabilities with the needs of hospital decision-makers.
- Participate in commercial conversations and product demonstrations in partnership with the Product and Solutions teams, supporting conversion from opportunity to signed contract.
- Support the expansion of existing Promptly relationships into new departments and data use cases.
Public Tenders
- Navigate multi-stakeholder public procurement environments across the SNS: licitaciones, concursos públicos, contratos menores, and framework agreements at hospital and CCAA level.
- Lead or co-lead tender responses end-to-end: pliegos de prescripciones técnicas, criterios de adjudicación, redacción de ofertas técnicas y económicas, and submission within institutional deadlines.
- Track and monitor upcoming public procurement opportunities across Comunidades Autónomas relevant to Promptly's portfolio, alerting the team and initiating early positioning where possible.
- Manage post-award public procurement obligations per account: resoluciones, modificaciones contractuales, and compliance with contracting frameworks.
What We're Looking For Must Have
- 5–7 years of B2B enterprise account management or sales experience, with at least 2 years managing accounts within Spanish public health institutions – hospital groups, hospital foundations, CCAA health services, or adjacent public bodies.
- Demonstrated track record managing and growing multi-year institutional contracts in technology, SaaS, data, or digital health environments, with direct accountability for renewal and upsell.
- Solid working knowledge of public procurement in Spain: licitaciones, concursos públicos, pliegos de prescripciones técnicas, contratos menores, and the institutional contracting frameworks applicable to hospital and health system purchasing. Prior hands-on experience leading or co-leading tender responses (redacción de ofertas técnicas y económicas) is a strong plus.
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across clinical, informatics, procurement, and executive levels within hospital institutions.
- Established network within Spanish health decision-making: hospital management, clinical informatics, Consejería de Salud directorates, or health system procurement offices.
- Experience with complex SaaS or enterprise data platform deployments in a health setting is strongly valued.
- Commercially sharp: able to identify expansion opportunities and generate new leads within an account portfolio, structure a business case,
and run a commercial conversation independently.
- Highly organised and rigorous in CRM hygiene, account planning, and pipeline forecasting.
- Native Spanish; working English (internal company language).
