Mobile Plant Engineer Slough | £38,000 – £41,000 + Overtime The Opportunity
NEOS Engineering are working with an established business within the plant and equipment sector , who are looking to add an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to their team.
This is a hands-on role working primarily on construction and plant equipment , carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs both in the workshop and out in the field.

The Role As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of plant and construction equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Attending customer sites to carry out repairs and servicing
- Preparing machinery for hire / return and ensuring equipment is safe and operational




- Completing service reports and relevant maintenance documentation
- Working closely with customers and the wider engineering team
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times

The Equipment The role is predominantly focused on mobile plant and construction equipment , so experience working on machinery such as:
- Excavators
- Dumpers
- Telehandlers
- Loaders
- Rollers
- Generators
- Other construction / plant equipment

would be highly beneficial.
About You We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding experience
- Experience working on construction or heavy plant equipment
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A full UK driving licence
- A strong focus on safety and quality

NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications in Plant Maintenance, Land-Based Engineering or a similar disciplin
