Job Title: Through Life Support Specialist (Edgewing)
Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems Air site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. There is a Hybrid Working Policy in place at Edgewing please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.
Salary: £54,808+ DOE

Job Description:




The TLS Supportability Lead will work as part of the Head of TLS Organisation. Youll be responsible for supporting the definition and development of Supportability requiring proficient level of engineering leadership and technical capability.
Core duties:
- Support the development of the overall approach to exerting Supportability design influence across the GCAP, working across the programme to ensure that Supportability outcomes are duly considered, appropriately prioritised and deliver the necessary 6th Generation Supportability characteristics
- Support the definition of the primary activities necessary throughout the full product life cycle, & ensure that that technical requirements are appropriately designed, developed, delivered & integrated in line with GCAP Architecture and Engineering policies
- Establish and maintain the engineering governance, frameworks, plans and processes required to undertake Design Influence & Supportabilit
