Job Title: People and Culture Assistant

Location: London, Cardiff, Edinburgh or home based with a requirement to travel.
*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of 27,694 to 43,642. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of 30,463 depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.
Context and purpose of role
This role will support the People and Culture team in providing a high-quality people experience for volunteers and employees. This role is far more than just administration.
Youll be a pivotal member of the team, being highly organised, versátil and supporting team members to achieve their objectives, whilst consistently maintaining high levels of customer service to the whole organisation.

Key responsibilities
Operational excellence
To lead and deliver outstanding administration and advisory support throughout the journey of all employees and volunteers at the Ramblers.
Proactively respond to first line internal and external queries, seek a resolution and (where needed) refer to appropriate person in the team.
Engage and proactively develop excellent working relationships with employees and volunteers across the organisation.
Proactively manage all data in our People systems, ensuring complete accuracy.

Coordinate all aspects of the employee and volunteer journey including:
