Help us build a healthier, more sustainable and inclusive food ecosystem in Barcelona.

Planeta Sana is looking for a proactive volunteer to help us build our restaurant and business partnerships from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, discovering great businesses, building relationships, and turning ideas into action.

You will help identify restaurants and food businesses in Barcelona that align with our values around health, sustainability, accessibility and inclusion, introduce them to Planeta Sana, and develop meaningful partnerships with their owners and teams.

This is not a traditional volunteer role where you simply follow instructions. You will have the opportunity to help shape how our partnership strategy, outreach process and restaurant network develop.

About Planeta Sana ?

Planeta Sana is an international initiative focused on the connection between human health, environmental health and inclusion.

We believe that healthier and more sustainable choices should be easier to find and accessible to more people.

We are currently developing a collaborative directory of restaurants and businesses that demonstrate meaningful practices related to:

We are currently rebuilding and expanding the initiative with a growing international volunteer team, with Barcelona as one of our initial focus areas.

The project is also working toward the creation of a future non-profit association. The association has not yet been formally established, so volunteers joining at this stage will be part of an early-stage project with significant potential to shape its future.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development, you will help us build relationships with restaurants and food-related businesses.

Your responsibilities may include

- ? Research and identify restaurants and food businesses aligned with Planeta Sana's mission.
- ? Qualify potential partners using our developing identification and assessment methodology.
- ? Reach out to restaurant owners and managers through email, phone, social media, networking and, when appropriate, in-person visits.




- ?️ Introduce Planeta Sana and clearly communicate the value of becoming part of our network.
- ? Build relationships with restaurant owners, managers and other decision-makers.
- ? Conduct introductory conversations or interviews with interested businesses.
- ? Encourage qualified businesses to participate in our sustainability, health and inclusion assessment.
- ? Provide feedback on what works and help us improve our partnership and outreach strategy.
- ? Help develop a growing network of restaurants that share our vision.

You will not be starting from zero.

Our team is already developing processes for restaurant research, qualification, evaluation, and outreach. Your role will be to put these processes into practice, test them in real situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and help turn them into an effective partnership system.

Who We're Looking For

Essential

✔ Intermediate Spanish or above, spoken and written

Experience that would be a plus

Spain-based applicants welcome

Remote-friendly for most activities

Some local outreach and restaurant meetings may take place in Barcelona

Time commitment: Adaptable, based on your availability and agreed responsibilities.

We are particularly interested in people who can contribute consistently over the longer term, rather than only for a few weeks.
