Balance is building a new model for obesity care by combining medical expertise, technology, and personalized support.

We are looking for a Community & Partnerships Intern to help us find, sign and activate the people who bring patients to Balance: personal trainers, nutritionists, pharmacies, micro-influencers and our own patients.

This is a creative and commercial role for someone with strong communication skills. You'll spend most of your time reaching out to people, explaining what we do and closing collaborations.

It offers exposure to real startup growth while working closely with the marketing, growth and medical teams.

What you'll work on

- Find and sign profiles for Balance Club, our affiliate programme: personal trainers, nutritionists, pharmacists and patients
- Identify and close collaborations with partners that make sense for us, from pharmacies and gyms to clinics and local businesses
- Identify micro-influencers with real, close-knit communities in our space, and close collaborations with them
- Follow up with new partners so the ones who register actually get active
- Manage our social channels: reply to messages and comments in the brand's voice, escalate what needs a clinical or support answer
- Run the ambassador group: coordination, questions and keeping the relationship alive
- Contribute to the content strategy: what we say to each audience and why,



working with the content team
- Support one-off acquisition projects with direct business impact

What this role is not

You won't produce content. No filming, no editing, no designing. Someone else does that for you.

You will have a say in what we communicate and to whom. You won't be the one making the pieces.

We say this clearly because many community roles end up being production jobs, and this one isn't.

- You communicate well, in writing and on a call. Most of this job is talking to people who don't know us yet
- You're comfortable reaching out to strangers, explaining a model and getting to a yes
- You have judgement: you'll speak on behalf of the brand and decide when to say no
- You're fluent in Spanish and English
- You can spot which profile fits and what will work for them
- You're independent. The team is small and nobody will be looking over your shoulder
