Our client runs infrastructure and engineering work across several environments at the same time. You will therefore need to work across multiple client environments in parallel, not just maintain one fixed setup, so breadth matters as much as depth.
Profile:
- 3-5 years of relevant DevOps experience
- Broad infrastructure generalist rather than a narrow platform specialist, comfortable picking up new environments quickly
- Strong, hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes, these are the core skills for this role
- Genuine multi-cloud experience: Azure is the main platform (roughly 50% of the environment), with AWS and Google Cloud also in active use, candidates should be comfortable across more than one cloud platform
- CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI,
Jenkins or Argo CD)
- Solid Linux administration skills
- Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, networking and security
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash or Go
- Strong English communication, since they will be dealing directly with the client's own architects
Type of position: Freelance. Project base, 3 to 6 months minimum with an option to extend based on performance,
Rate:
Maximum €50 per hour, depending on experience level and breadth of knowledge.
