Finance Operating Model & Process Redesign The Role - Director
As a Director in the CFO Services team, you will take ownership of leading complex transformation projects across our client portfolio. You will work with senior stakeholders—including CFOs, CEOs, and PE sponsors—to assess financial operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that deliver measurable results.
This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, problem-solving, client delivery, and team development. Directors play a critical role in building client trust, delivering projects to high standards, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end client engagements,
from scoping to execution
Serve as the primary point of contact for CFOs, finance leaders, and sponsors
Design and implement performance improvement initiatives across finance processes (e.g. FP&A;, reporting, close cycle, cash flow forecasting)
Drive finance transformation through systems, data, and operating model changes
Support cash visibility and liquidity optimization initiatives
Manage and mentor high-performing project teams
Develop client relationships and contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, and client meetings
Ensure the quality, timeliness, and impact of all deliverables
Collaborate with other A&M; service lines as needed (e.g., Transaction Advisory, Restructuring, Digital)
Key Requirements
8-12 years of experience in finance transformation, performance improvement, transaction services, or related areas
Experience in top-tier consulting, Private Equity-backed environments, or finance leadership roles in corporates
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams in complex client settings
Excellent understanding of financial processes, operating models, and performance metrics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident working with C-level executives
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, ACA or equivalent qualification preferred
