Allianz Services is where that legacy meets the future. We deliver specialized services to clients within Allianz Group, powered by AI, advanced analytics, and a mindset that refuses to stand still. From core insurance operations to engineering and consulting services, we reimagine how insurance works. We shape it.
Are you passionate about data and AI and eager to see how they transform the world's leading insurance brand? Join Allianz Services as a Data & AI Engineer (m/f/d) and dive into impactful data science and engineering projects within our Az Services Spain Engineering Hub. Collaborate with a dynamic, international team to design, build, and productionize models and data-driven systems that deliver measurable business outcomes. Partner closely with the Business Owner to translate goals into working solutions with clear SLAs, governance, and ROI to truly "Make AI Happen."
Design and implement machine learning models and data-driven applications, with a focus on robust system design and clean, maintainable pipelines.
Develop and deploy a diverse range of models, moving comfortably between classical machine learning (e.g., LightGBM, XGBoost, Scikit-Learn) for structured data and other modeling approaches for unstructured or text-based data as needed.
Design evaluation frameworks and feedback loops, including offline/online testing and regression checks, to ensure model accuracy and reliability over time.
Create secure integrations between models and internal APIs, databases, and SaaS systems,
applying REST principles and API versioning so consumers keep working as model behavior evolves, and returning structured, validated response schemas rather than raw model output.
Deploy new model versions behind stable, versioned endpoints, backed by automated testing suited to non-deterministic outputs (contract tests, output validation, regression benchmarks) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Optimize services for latency, reliability, and cost-efficiency, and build in the logging, monitoring, and traceability needed to run them confidently in production.
Write high-quality, testable code and maintain CI/CD pipelines; 5-7 years of professional experience delivering end-to-end ML or data engineering projects, from data preparation through production deployment and monitoring.
~ Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals (unit testing, type hinting, packaging).
~ Solid understanding of the machine learning product lifecycle and hands-on experience with MLOps practices.
~ Proficiency in CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
~ Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred); A demonstrable ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and the self-motivation to drive delivery within an agile environment.
~ Good level of English (required);
