Overview

As a Senior Engineer on the Prism team, you will shape scalable security data platforms that form a trustworthy picture of users, hosts, and services. You’ll partner across product, design and engineering to transform hard problems into reliable systems used by security teams. The role blends backend data modeling, APIs, and performance-focused work in a distributed environment. You’ll contribute to a security-focused product area that scales and maintains correctness while delivering fast results.

Responsabilidades

- Own small-to-medium projects from design to production, including data modeling, background tasks, and APIs
- Profile and optimize queries to ensure fast, reliable features at scale
- Write high-quality TypeScript and React code, with Node.js services and APIs where needed




- Build telemetry, tests, and safeguards for production reliability
- Review code, mentor teammates, and improve team practices
- Collaborate with Elastic Security, Kibana, Elasticsearch/ES|QL, and Support teams

Requisitos principales

- Several years of experience building and maintaining production software
- Deep TypeScript and JavaScript skills, especially with React and Node.js
- Successfully led projects from conception to deployment
- Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and optimize code while owning outcomes
- Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and switch between projects as priorities change
- Autonomous work style with effective asynchronous, transparent communication
