Experteer Overview
In this Technical Service Lead role, you will steer technical service across the EMEA region for the Packaging Coatings segment, leading a team and coordinating trials and customer support. You’ll work closely with customers, plants, and suppliers to optimize machinery settings and troubleshoot issues, while applying Best-in-Class trial methodologies. Your work will shape plant relationships, drive continuous improvement, and elevate technical capabilities across the segment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Attend important trials across the entire EMEA region
• Lead technical assistance to major customers and provide trial support
• Improve machinery settings and ensure trials and plant activities meet standards
• Apply Best-in-Class line trial and plant audit methodologies (Secure Launch, PPG quality tools)
• Deliver training programmes to broaden skills within PPG and at customer facilities




• Partner with equipment suppliers to enhance technical support capability
• Provide post-conversion technical support to maintain plant relationships and resolve problems (Kepner-Tregoe)
• Initiate continuous improvement programmes at customer facilities
• Establish working partnerships with plants and with PPG peers
• Use Technical Support SharePoint site to share data globally
• Troubleshoot at customer sites and investigate failed trials to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with Segment Support labs for trial can items and local development

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years in a technical support or service role in coatings or packaging
• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Engineering background
• English professional level
• Willingness to travel within EMEA up to 70%
