Role Description The English Second Language Instructor is a full-time (25 contact hours) on-site role based in Cangas de Onís. The instructor will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, using a range of communicative and interactive teaching methods.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and materials, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The role also involves participating in maintaining accurate records,



working as a team and ensuring efficient and timely communication with stakeholders and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The instructor is expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support the overall academic goals of Brighton English School.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
- Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and a bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work with learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds in a respectful, inclusive manner.
- Proficiency with digital tools and educational technology to support instruction and communication.
