Full-Time: 35 HoursWorking as part of a small team within GBB, this role involves investigating and reconstructing serious and fatal road traffic collisions and producing Court compliant reports.We receive instructions from solicitors, insurance companies, manufacturers and the general public. The role is customer facing with frequent meetings and discussions with clients and barristers.The role will be open to individuals who either demonstrate the qualifications and ability to carry out the role with the appropriate training, or to those who already have the necessary experience to satisfy the requirements.What will your day look like:The objective of the role is to produce impartial,



accurate and comprehensive reports to assist the Court in understanding the circumstances of a collision.To also assist in pre-litigation investigation to assist clients in early case settlement or issues of liability.Vehicle examinations to consider damage, defects, mechanical condition and roadworthinessDownloading and analysing vehicle data (e.g ECU and Event Data Recorder)Site visits and incident reconstructionsAnalysis using traditional collision investigation techniques to find impact speeds3D surveys, computer modelling, photogrammetry, animations and simulationsCCTV / Video analysisConsideration and application of human factorsNight-time collisions and conspicuity issuesDocumentary evidence reviews, witness statements, police reports etcLiterature reviews and consideration of published researchPlan and conduct relevant research and testingAs an expert witness Court attendance will be necessary at both Criminal and Civil hearings.Knowledge and Abilities:Essential Qualifications or willingness to achieve:Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an engineering or physics-related disciplineCan demonstrate a practical knowledge of collisi
