Systems Technician

Valpatek Technology Group is looking for a Systems Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance and technical support of the different technology solutions marketed by the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, implement and configure hardware and software solutions at customer sites and in remote environments.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to applications, databases, operating systems, networks and devices.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Configure and upgrade existing customer environments.
- Carry out functional and technical testing before solutions are deployed into production.
- Monitor incidents and service requests through to their final resolution.
- Document installations, configurations, technical procedures and resolved incidents.
- Coordinate with internal project, consulting and development teams.
- Provide customers with technical guidance and basic training on the implemented solutions.
- Participate in technology implementation, migration and upgrade projects.

Essential Requirements

- Professional proficiency in French is mandatory, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience providing support for software, hardware or other technology solutions.
- Knowledge of Windows, Android and/or Linux operating systems.




- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical incidents.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Organised, methodical and results-oriented approach.
- Availability to travel when required for installations or technical interventions.

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience in the implementation or maintenance of business software solutions.
- Knowledge of networks, communications, servers and virtualised environments.
- Experience with queue management, appointment scheduling, self-service kiosks or digital signage solutions.
- Knowledge of remote-support and incident-management tools.
- Technical qualification in IT Systems, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field.
