you will play a crucial role in supporting our sites with process engineering challenges, including combustion, flue gas treatment, emissions control, steam cycle interfaces and gasification processes. The successful candidate will work closely with both our UK and integral power plant site teams and engineering colleagues to improve site performance, support operational troubleshooting, and help drive improvements across the UK fleet.Responsibilities include: Provide technical assistance to sites and project teams on operational issues, process optimisation, plant improvements and associated engineering projects.Lead or participate in root cause analysis, technical investigations and incident reviews, ensuring robust conclusions, clear recommendations and effective implementation of actions.Identify process risks, performance limitations and recurring issues, and recommend practical mitigations, improvements and longer-term engineering soluti
