Role Description
The Email Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Barcelona. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and executing email campaigns that promote Watatu Travel’s experiences, drive lead generation, and nurture customer relationships.



Day-to-day tasks include building segmented email lists, designing and optimizing email templates, writing persuasive and brand-aligned copy, and setting up automated workflows for different stages of the customer journey. The specialist will track performance metrics, conduct A/B tests, and use data insights to refine campaign strategy and improve engagement and conversion rates. Collaboration with marketing, sales, and local partner teams is expected to ensure that email content reflects current offerings, responsible travel values, and customer needs.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Email Marketing Software and Marketing Automation tools, with experience setting up campaigns, workflows, and segmentation.
- Ability to interpret and act on Marketing Analytics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and audience behavior.
