Overview In this role you will safeguard data protection and backup services to meet corporate, regulatory, and audit standards. You act as the SME for backup, data protection, and compliance, guiding infrastructure teams and coordinating with MSPs to ensure service quality. You will design and evolve protection platforms across on-premises and cloud, while driving continuous improvement and ensuring seamless integration into the corporate technology landscape.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold quality, facilitate audits, and support regulatory compliance. This is a chance to shape Grifols' resilience in a dynamic, regulated healthcare environment.

Responsabilidades Serve as SME for backup, data protection, and compliance topics

Provide guidance on backup and data protection across on-prem and cloud environments

Collaborate with architecture teams to design and manage data protection platforms

Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate backup solutions

Maintain technical and functional documentation for data protection services

Be primary contact for quality, validation, and audit activities

Support audits by managing evidence and deviations

Coordinate knowledge transfer between backup and other areas





Manage project/service demand with PM teams and vendors

Oversee transition of new projects into managed services

Monitor major incidents and external service provider activities

Requisitos principales 5–10 years of experience in administration and management of backup and data protection platforms

Advanced knowledge of Dell NetWorker, PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Veeam, and Commvault

Experience with Data Domain and LTO tape libraries

Experience in complex, high-availability corporate environments

Experience in regulated environments and audit-driven organizations (desirable)

Strong understanding of quality processes, validation, and regulatory compliance frameworks

Advanced English and Spanish

Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and manage service demand

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to interact effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and external service providers

Strong orientation towards quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement

Strong communication with cross-functional teams problem-solving mindset quality and compliance focus
